Looking for HDH Volunteers for a New Year's celebration at Hawaii's Plantation Village

We're looking for volunteers to help at a New Year's celebration at Hawaii's Plantation Village in Waipahu.

The Village will be celebrating the New Lunar Year of the Dragon with  a FREE "Relive the Plantation Days Festival" on Saturday, February 9, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Many activities, such as traditional plantation games, crafts, and multi-cultural dances, have been planned for the keiki and others in attendance.

Also being celebrated is the 110th year of Korean immigration to Hawaii.

Free tours of the Village will be offered, as well as sampling of food from the plantation era.   A Chinese plate lunch and other types of food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, and shave ice, will be available for sale.

Admission is free and parking is also free and available on site.

If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please contact:  Nora @ hangukdramahi-at-yahoo(dot)com.
